Get Ready for Baby - Sibling Class!

Service Description

This private class is for the soon-to-be big brother or sister! How much fun to see your children learn how to hold a baby, swaddle, change diaper discussions of sibling fun responsibilities as they become "Big Sister" or "Big Brother". This class will help them grow confidence in their new role as big brother or sister than to give them some skills to help support you in the postpartum period. Veteran mom, OB nurse, and childbirth educator, Donna Lowery, will visit your home to teach siblings how they can help with the day-to-day tasks of newborn care and how to prepare for the birth of a little brother or sister. Donna will cover the basics of newborn care in an easy-to-understand way; read a story; play a game and teach a fun craft. Children are encouraged to have a doll or stuffed animal to practice diaper changes, swaddling, and holding a baby. They will also receive a special "Big Brother/Big Sister" certificate at the completion of the class.
